About PECO

PECO is focused on contributing to the elimination of gas flaring and gas venting because it’s a major contributor to global warming.

Our Vision for the Future

Transforming harmful gases into valuable materials, we are pioneering a world where waste becomes worth and climate threats become economic opportunities.

We’re building the foundation to contribute to a sustainable, zero-waste economy – protecting our planet and its people.

That's what PECO is striving for. Will you join us?

Our Solution

To develop a solution the company had to firstly understand the nature of the problem that has faced the oil industry in how the gas associated with oil extraction should be handled. There are instances at large production sites where the volume of gas has been viable to develop LNG production plants and to avoid flaring. However, this just pushes the problem of emissions down the line as that LNG will be burnt elsewhere and emissions will follow.

The bigger wider spread problem is the current approx. 7,000 onshore gas flaring/methane venting sites and the approx. 1,000 offshore sites that there is currently no viable answer to. This problem is down to several factors, that include location, lack of infrastructure, coupled with being uneconomical to build pipe lines to transport gas to central process units.

The biggest problem to solve is how to handle the many toxic substances that are contained in the gas.

PECO's Objectives

  • The plant design has to be fully independent and supply its own energy.
  • The plant should be modular and scalable to cope with the varying gas supply at different sites.
  • Use industry standards and new techniques to separate and treat the various toxic hydrocarbons to obtain the pure methane feed for the production of high grade graphite and hydrogen.
  • Design and manufacture a reactor that will process the methane.
  • The system when deployed must be an economical proposition that will demonstrate that flaring and venting gas is a destructive, wasteful and unnecessary process.

Partner with us

PECO being a start-up company needs endorsement to get the message out to the oil and gas industry that there is a viable alternative to flaring and venting gas. These industry practises have been contributing to global warming over a long period of time and continue to this day without cessation or any meaningful method of resolving the problem.

Despite promises and pledges to reduce world-wide polluting practises, there has been little to no progress in slowing down the ever-increasing accumulation of greenhouse gases.

PECO will use this page of our website to publish links and quotes from individuals, companies and corporations that believe there has to be both accountability and progress in halting such seriously bad practises that endanger the well-being of the world’s future generations.

PECO's Roadmap

Roadmap & Strategy

1. Lobby governments and organisations like The World Bank and OPEC Fund to impose regulation to prohibit gas flaring.

2. Demonstrate the effectiveness of processing both flared gas and methane waste by transforming them into valuable commodities and proving that through the use of digital twin simulation technology.

3. Secure partnerships by demonstrating a working solution that creates viable products, as well as financial forecasts for ROI.
